Chris Brown is tripping. The R&B superstar not only had the nerve to release a 40-track double album, but just dropped a deluxe edition with even more songs. In case you don’t have four or five hours to put aside for the full Heartbreak On A Full Moon experience, let me draw your attention to the highlight. Breezy teams up with AGNEZ MO for a cute bop called “On Purpose.” This almost sounds like a throwback to F.A.M.E. era with its pop sensibility and sugary sweet production. Which is obviously a good thing.
“I got this, don’t worry and I know God put you here on purpose,” they sing on the instantly-catchy chorus. “I know that you nervous, but you the only one that’s worth it.” It’s a genuinely good song that could give AGNEZ’s US campaign a boost. The Indonesian diva recently released her first international album, X. It was produced by Danja and is jam-packed with bangers like “Long As I Get Paid” and “Damn I Love You.” Hopefully, this is the first of many high-profile collaborations between US and Asian hitmakers. Listen below.
