Disney's superhero blockbuster "Thor: Ragnarok" held the top spot in the box office, both in the U.S. and internationally, generating estimated revenues of $56.6M domestically and $132.5M worldwide in its 2nd week of general release. The weekend's returns brings the movie's global total above $650 million, surpassing first entry in the Thor franchise and within arm's reach of passing the sequel.
Paramount's holiday-themed comedy "Daddy's Home 2" also fared well in its first week of general release. Starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, the film cleared an estimated $30.4m in revenue over the weekend, according to figures compiled by comScore.
