Taylor Swift First Day Sales Top 717K, Tour Announcement Planned

First day sales for Taylor Swift's new album "Reputation" topped 717,000, according to data gathered by BuzzAngle Music. "She's got a shot at 1.5M for the week given this," says BuzzAngle CEO Jim Ledestri.  

Swift's debut stats are even more impressive since, while four singles from the new release are on Spotify, Apple Music and other streamers, the full "Reputation" album has been withheld.

Swift's sales include include both download and CD sales in the United States. Taylor Swift's last full album release, 19989, sold just under 1.3 million copies in the United Sates during its 2014 release week.

Swift is also reportedly planning a tour announcement around her 28th birthday on December 13th.  Her last tour in 2015 grossed between 250 million and 300 million.
